COMPOUNDS FOR SYNTHETIC
SCREENING
TimTec's
present collection exceeds
100,000 synthetic organic
compounds that are immediately
available from their stock,
and more than 200,000 from
their overseas stock. Stock
additions are made on a
regular basis. All compounds
are available in vials and
microtiterplates in custom
amounts. TimTec's
databases also contain
information on
physico-chemical properties
such as LogP, solubility and
absorption. TimTec’s
main database has more than
2,500,000 compounds, which are
available for synthesis by
chemists from various research
institutions throughout the
world. They also have unique
databases of rare natural
compounds. The databases are
available in CD-Rom format and
for download direct from their
website.

LIBRARY DIVERSITY AND
DRUG-LIKE CHARACTERISTICS
According to recent client
response, TimTec's
databases are the most diverse
available. Their diversity
analysis software can be used
to prepare database selections
designed to diversify existing
libraries. Drug-like
characteristics defined by the
Lipinski rule of five and
additional structural filters
can also be used to select
compounds with drug-like
properties.
BUILDING BLOCKS FOR
ORGANIC SYNTHESIS
TimTec's
database contains over 10,000
building blocks and
intermediates used for
combinatorial and organic
synthesis. Available
quantities are from 200mg to
20g. Additional quantities can
be synthesized upon request.
COMPOUND QUALITY AND
PURITY
TimTec
control structure and purity
of all compounds using NMR and
Mass spectrometry techniques.
Their compounds have an
average purity of 95%, and the
minimum purity is at least
90%. They randomly check the
quality of stock compounds on
a regular basis to confirm
their stability and shelf
life.
