Drug-like Characteristics of Compounds
TimTec stock compounds possess drug-like characteristics and undergo multistep filtration to be included in pre-designed libraries. LogP, Molecular weight, number of H-bond donors and acceptors as set forth in the Lipinski "Rule of Five" guide in determining strong hit and lead development characteristics.

H-bond acceptors < 10
Log P < 5
Mol. Weight < 500
 1 - compounds which satisfy 1 requirement - 1% of all compounds
2 - compounds which satisfy 2 requirements 2% of all compounds

ActiMol and TimTec Extended Stock
TimTec ActiMol stock is about 100,000 of readily available synthetic organic compounds. In addition to pre-designed compound sets and subsets, all compounds are available on a cherry-pick basis in vials and/or microplates in custom amounts. Our compound collections offer greater diversity since we have balanced combination of in-house synthesis and outside sourcing. There is high diversity score from collection to collection. We prefer avoiding combinatorial chemistry approach in library design and all our molecules are hand-synthesized. TimTec compounds are stored in dry form only and are freshly prepared in DMSO. TimTec offers a variety of screening collections to suit different in capacity and design/purpose assays. Compounds in our library collections are available for re-supply from our US stock.
Quality Control and Compound Purity
TimTec determines structure and purity of all compounds by using NMR and mass spectrometry. Our compounds have an average purity of 95%, and the minimum purity is at least 90%. We randomly check the quality of our stock compounds on a regular basis to confirm stability and shelf life. 1H-NMR spectra are available upon request for all stock compounds.
